Apparently, big cities have been banning people from feeding the homeless for nearly 100 years. I had no idea.

“In New York City, for example, Mayor Michael Bloomberg banned food donations to the homeless earlier this year ‘because the city can’t assess their salt, fat and fiber content.’”
How do you become that disconnected?
He would probably prefer people give money to the homeless, so they can purchase government approved 16 oz beverages.
