UK Medical Patients Denied Care Without Consent

Free health care leads to rationing. Rationing of care means doctors have to prioritize resource distribution.

Tens of thousands of patients in the UK are now being put onto the ‘Liverpool Care Pathway’ without their consent.

The ‘Liverpool Care Pathway’ involves increasing pain medication, and removing fluids and foods from the patient, which is done purposely to lead to the patient’s death within an average of 29 hours.

One patient reportedly begged medical staff and family members for a drink of water after his fluids were removed. He died within the next 24 hours.

This is what we have to look forward to in the US if we continue on the path to government control of health care.

To protect patients, we need to lower costs and reduce government control over health care decisions.

The solution is to remove government and corporate control through agencies such as the AMA, FDA, local state medical boards, by abolishing all of the laws and regulations these institutions use to control doctors and force competitors out of the market.
